Danny Avila At the grand old age of 17, Danny Avila has become one of the hottest acts in the world of EDM. From winning the ‘Best Newcomer DJ’ at the prestigious 2011 Vicious Music Awards at just 16, through an incredible 2012 Ibiza season that caught the attention of everyone including Tiësto and dance bible DJ Mag where he became the youngest ever Covermount CD artist.
Ian Carey is and has been for many years a legendary key player in the house scene worldwide. Ian grew up in a small town in Maryland, USA; about 2 hours from Washington DC. He was exposed to music at a young age, as his father (RIP) was a live sound engineer and ran a sound reinforcement company. His father engineered for such groups as Kool and The Gang and The Duke Ellington Orchestra.
GU legend Dave Seaman to produce 'crowd funded' compilation album! The good news in, Dave has now smashed his original £25,000 target to make the very first crowd funded 2 x CD DJ Mix compilation album! (That we know about anyway. We might be wrong but that's what Google says and Google is always right). It seems like a lot of money I hear you say. And you'd be right but albums are expensive to make. Nice artwork costs a pretty penny and of course, artists and record labels need to be paid for letting us have the rights to use their tracks. So rest assured that your money will be allocated wisely - licensing advances for the artists and labels featured, mechanical royalties, artwork & sleeve design, production and manufacture, postage and packaging. Plus, we have to pay people to actually do the licensing and contracting for us, mastering engineers to make it sound perfect and maybe even some PR people so we can spread the word about what could potentially be a game changing concept. And thats an exciting thing to be part of right? In exchange for your support in making this happen, you, the pledger has the opportunity to secure all sorts of exciting and exclusive rewards from signed copies of the album (a double CD no less), your name featured in the Thank You section of the album credits and exclusive T shirts featuring fancy artwork from those awesome designers Neighbour (down in that there London) right through to one-to-one DJ lessons, VIP nights out or even a private party for you and all your friends. Well not all of them, just 30. Now you don't get all that when you pre order from Amazon do you?
